These 7-Day Return Policy Terms and Conditions govern your right to return a vehicle and receive a refund, if applicable, for any vehicle purchased from CarDoor Inc. (“CarDoor”). You have seven (7) days from the date of delivery or 500 kilometers, whichever comes first, to return the vehicle to CarDoor for a refund less any third-party fees (described below), provided the following conditions are met:
1. Vehicle Condition at Return
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was at the time of delivery. No return will be accepted if there is ANY damage to the vehicle, including, but not limited to, damage caused by accidents, weather, or vandalism, items such as bent wheels, worn tires, worn brakes, and interior damage (e.g., rips, tears, burns, or pet or smoke-related damage).
2. Inclusion of Original and Aftermarket Items
All original items or accessories included with the vehicle at the time of delivery must be returned with the vehicle. Any accessories purchased separately and added to the vehicle by CarDoor (such as winter tires, aftermarket wheels, side steps, racks, covers, remote starters, or heated seats) are not eligible for a refund.
3. Timeframe
The vehicle must be returned by 5 p.m. EST on the 7th day.
4. No Liens on the Vehicle
The vehicle must not have any new liens placed on it after delivery.
5. Acknowledgments and Requirements
By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge the following:
You are not eligible for a return if you have returned one or more vehicles to CarDoor within the last thirty (30) days. This policy is in place to prevent misuse of the return option.
You must be present for the return inspection, which will take place at the time of return. You will be responsible for delivering the vehicle to CarDoor’s place of business.
The ownership registration must be signed over to CarDoor and provided at the time of return.
If you traded in another vehicle as part of your purchase, that trade-in vehicle is not eligible for return or reimbursement.
Any negative equity due to the trade-in vehicle immediately becomes due and payable, and you must provide CarDoor with a bank draft for this amount.
6. Refund Exclusions
o Any third-party fees incurred, such as OMVIC fees, government or licensing fees, shipping/delivery fees, admin fees, and financing fees immediately become due and payable, and you must provide CarDoor with a bank draft for this amount.
o Any refund to you will exclude any third-party fees, such as OMVIC fees, government or licensing fees, shipping/delivery fees, admin fees, and financing fees.
7. Refund Processing Time
Your refund, if any, will be processed and issued within 15 business days from the date the vehicle is returned, provided all conditions are met. Please note that any delays in processing may occur depending on the payment method used or the completion of necessary return inspections.
